Clients – Philips – Lamps of desire

For Philips, Osram, General Electric and a dozen other stakeholders in the lighting industry I supervised a project called ‘Lamps of Desire’ in which I proposed a series of designs for energy efficient domestic lighting. The concept was later transformed by Philips into the Hue product lines.

‘The lights provide a sparkling warm red light reminiscent of the soft glow of a candle. The project has resulted in a new typology of energy-saving lights – that cannot only perform in an environmentally friendly way, but that look good too.’
